Riyadh– Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh met here today with Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of the Gambia Sheriff Abba Sanyang, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged a number of issues of common interest, especially those related to the situations of Muslims in the Republic of the Gambia, and ways of joint cooperation to serve Islamic action in its various fields.

For his part, the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of the Gambia expressed thanks and appreciation of the government of his country for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership for the efforts it provides to Islam and Muslims, as well as the humanitarian aid being provided to the needy people.
