Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce conducted 2,259 inspection tours of school supply outlets, including bookstores and stationery stores, across the Kingdom as part of preparations for the start of the new academic year.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the tours aimed to verify the availability of school products and supplies and their various alternatives, monitor price stability, ensure that products carry price tags or display electronic pricing, monitor commercial discounts, and verify outlets' compliance with Ministry of Commerce regulations.
