Ministry of Islamic Affairs Launches Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Iftar and Dates Distribution Programs in Nigeria

Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Nigerian, inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Iftar and date distribution programs, in the presence of Embassy Chargé d’Affairs Ibrahim Al-Ghamdi and several senior officials.

Al-Ghamdi stressed that the implementation of the two programs in Nigeria will include needy people in several Nigerian cities and villages, and he extended his appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their support for the establishment of such humanitarian programs.

The Iftar program targets more than 50,000 beneficiaries through the distribution of 25 tons of dates. The Kingdom has also distributed 70,000 copies of the Holy Quran and its translations to the Nigerian people.

These programs are the implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince and the culmination of the efforts and services provided by the Kingdom in serving Islam, spreading its true principles and values, caring for Muslims, tracking their affairs, and addressing their needs.
