AlUla:The Ministry of Sport and the Royal Commission for AlUla have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in the development of the sports sector within AlUla Governorate. This agreement, signed on Sunday, is intended to advance sports initiatives and support comprehensive development objectives.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU focuses on enhancing coordination between the two entities in areas of mutual interest. It aims to promote development initiatives, support community sports activities, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the Ministry and the Commission.

The areas of cooperation outlined in the agreement include exploring mechanisms to attract investors and sponsors to the sports sector in AlUla Governorate. It also involves sharing expertise to develop sports facilities and infrastructure, coordinating plans and media campaigns to raise community awareness about the importance of physical activity, and developing human capabilities through training programs and courses.
