Moderate to Heavy Rain Expected in Multiple Regions Across Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: Moderate to heavy rain and hail are anticipated in various regions of Saudi Arabia on Friday, including Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Eastern, and Riyadh regions. Dust-stirring winds are also expected in these areas, as well as in parts of the Al-Jouf and Northern Borders regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will be predominantly northwesterly to northerly, with speeds ranging from 20-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, and 12-30 km/h in the southern part. Sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with wave heights ranging from one to over two meters.

In the Arabian Gulf region, winds are forecasted to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, while in the southern part, winds will shift from northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 12-35 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, with the sea conditions also being calm to choppy.
