Baghdad / - Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman called for the establishment of a Palestinian state according to the 1967 borders in a way that achieves security and prosperity for all, considering that the violence in Gaza is being paid the price by innocent civilians.
He said in his speech during the opening of the first summit among the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN): "We are distressed by the escalating violence that Gaza is witnessing today, for which innocent civilians are paying the price."
He stressed, "We reject targeting civilians in any way and under any pretext," describing this as "a heinous crime and a brutal attack."
He stressed "the need to stop military operations against civilians and infrastructure that affect their daily lives," noting "the need to stop military operations and create conditions to achieve lasting peace that guarantees the establishment of a Palestinian state."
