More than 9,077 Umrah Performers Received Medical Services in Makkah Hospitals

Makkah– The Chief Executive Officer of the Healthcare Cluster in Makkah, Dr. Hatem bin Ahmed Al-Omari, inspected today the health facilities in the central region during the last ten days of Ramadan, where he was briefed on the readiness of the medical facilities and the efforts made to serve the guests and visitors of the Grand Mosque.

The tour included Ajyad Emergency Hospital, Al-Haram Hospital, and Emergency Centers, the various departments of the hospital including the intensive care units, the visual triage area, and the Mosque’s three emergency centers.

Since the beginning of Ramadan, more than 9,077 Umrah performers have received health services through emergency centers, Al-Haram Hospital, and the hospitals of the Holy Capital, in addition to proving medical services to 317 pilgrims through mobile clinics in the central region and the entrance to Makkah, with 36 emergency surgeries performed, and 349 dialysis, 26 catheters, and 79 outpatient visits.
