The MP of Wasit Governorate, Wafaa Al-Shammari, announced that she submitted an official request to include a number of observations in the draft federal budget law, which the House of Representatives completed its first reading in its session yesterday evening, Wednesday.

Al-Shammari said, in a press conference, "We will vote on the budget on many conditions, as it directly concerns the citizen, including the return of the canceled contracts from the people of the popular Mobilization as well as the differences, support for the local product, especially farmers, support for factories and companies producing from the private sector as it is the backbone of the country, transforming the daily wages and free workers after 10/2/2019 on permanent staffing, as well as taking into account the shares of the central and southern governorates and giving them their actual and not speculative entitlement, with the establishment of a fund for the sacrificial governorates similar to the liberated governorates, as well as adjusting the salaries of retirees and starting to amend the salary scale, and finally reducing the deficit because it is exaggerated./End
