Doha: Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail took part in the third Qatar Real Estate Forum held in Doha, where Saudi Arabia was the guest of honor in a high-level ministerial session on the real estate sector roadmap toward Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Hogail reviewed Saudi Arabia’s urban, regulatory, and digital transformations within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, highlighting that Gulf countries are experiencing a shift in attracting capital, talent, and job opportunities. He noted that these changes coincide with evolving lifestyles and the needs of younger generations, which require the development of new community and city models centered on people and quality of life.
The minister added that Saudi Vision 2030 marked a turning point in the Kingdom’s transition from managing the market to empowering it, supported by flexible regulations, economic integration, and digital transformation that have enhanced service efficiency, accelerated implementation, and reshaped the overall real estate experience.
He emphasized that under the leadership’s support, Saudi Arabia continues to advance institutional transformation and economic empowerment to ensure sustainable real estate growth, balance supply and demand, and improve urban quality of life.
Al-Hogail concluded by stressing that Gulf integration in the real estate sector is a key pillar for building a more mature and sustainable regional market. He praised Qatar’s successful organization and hosting of the forum, which provided a platform to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise, and build strategic partnerships that contribute to shaping a more sustainable, cohesive, and distinctive Gulf urban future.
