Mina: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing's field teams, represented by the Holy Makkah Municipality, have initiated comprehensive environmental preparation and sanitation efforts in Mina as pilgrims departed for Arafat. This initiative is part of the ministry's operational plan for the 1447 AH Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry reported that field teams began their work early in the morning, focusing on intensive waste collection and environmental sanitation. These efforts were bolstered by additional teams equipped with suction pumps, tankers, and field vehicles, all working around the clock to address various emergencies, such as rain and fires.

Furthermore, the ministry has deployed approximately 88,000 waste units throughout the holy sites. This measure aims to enhance waste collection efficiency and ensure the maintenance of the general environment during the Hajj season.
