Jeddah: The Muslim World League has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attack on a Saudi ship in the Red Sea by the Houthi militia. This act of aggression has drawn criticism from various international and religious bodies.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the General Secretariat of the Muslim World League released a statement in which Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, denounced the attack as a criminal act. The statement highlighted that such actions violate religious values and international laws, emphasizing the militia's deliberate targeting of civilian and economic sites, as well as the threat posed to international trade routes and the marine environment.

The statement further expressed the League's complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting all measures taken by the Kingdom in response to this terrorist aggression. The Muslim World League, along with its assemblies, bodies, and global councils, stands united with Saudi Arabia against this violation of peace and security in the region.
