Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the attacks targeting several Kuwaiti border posts, an offshore drilling platform belonging to Kuwait Oil Company, the attacks on Kuwait's Consulate General in Basra, and two UAE oil tankers while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. It also condemned Iran's continued actions threatening regional security and stability by targeting Jordan, Bahrain, and Qatar, describing them as violations of the principles of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the principles of good neighborliness.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued by the league, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa renewed his condemnation of what he described as Iran's repeated criminal attacks, saying they violate all religious values, international and humanitarian laws and norms, and undermine efforts to restore security and stability across the region.
He stressed the league's full solidarity with the brotherly countries in all measures they take to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
