MWL Secretary-General Delivers Address at Tashkent’s First International Islamic Forum

Tashkent: Under the patronage of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa delivered a televised address at the opening session of the First International Islamic Civilization Forum, entitled "Islamic Civilization: The Path of Peace, Tolerance, and Enlightenment," in Tashkent.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum was organized by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, attracting around 300 speakers from 40 countries worldwide.

Al-Issa highlighted the inauguration of the center in Tashkent as one of the largest cultural and educational institutions in the Islamic world. He also praised the opening of the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand and its research efforts to preserve the scholarly legacies of Imam Al-Bukhari, Imam Al-Tirmidhi, and Imam Al-Maturidi. He also commended Uzbekistan's efforts to revive and promote Islamic, scientific, and cultural heritage globally.
