Naif Arab University for Security Sciences Participates in World Police Summit in Dubai

Riyadh, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) is participating in the World Police Summit (WPS), inaugurated on Tuesday in Dubai, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince; taking part are representatives of police, security and law enforcement agencies from the Arab world and more than 112 other countries.

NAUSS is present at the event with a pavilion; its experts in all programs and activities will present, over course of the three days of summit, the efforts in the police and security field, and advanced programs for training and preparing leaders and specialists in the security field in the Arab countries through interactive digital technologies.

The NAUSS pavilion includes a presentation of research and publications on contemporary security issues and problems, and how to confront them, as well as programs, research, and output of research and training centers, and international partnerships concluded with the aim of developing the capabilities of security services in Arab countries.

NAUSS President Dr. Abdulmajeed bin Abdullah Albanyan said that NAUSS’ participation in WSP in Dubai comes in recognition of the importance of this event, which has become one of the most important international events hosting global security activities. He said that NAUSS participates in WSP with scientific papers in the fields of forensic evidence and cybercrime, as well as through the NAUSS pavilion at the exhibition accompanying WSP. The NAUSS pavilion displays the educational and training services provided by NAUSS. Partnership opportunities between NAUSS and relevant parties participating in the summit will also be discussed.

NAUSS is the scientific body of the Arab Interior Ministers Council whose goal is to prepare Arab leaders and experts in the security fields through high quality scientific training and academic programs prepared to keep pace with the needs of Arab security and justice authorities.
