Riyadh: The Najran Cultural House, in cooperation with the Cinema Association, has launched the "Shashatna" mobile film screening program, offering the public an open-air film screening experience at the house's headquarters east of Najran city.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program features eight short films spanning the fiction, documentary, and comedy genres. It aims to bring the film-viewing experience beyond traditional cinemas into open cultural and community spaces while supporting emerging filmmakers by showcasing independent Saudi productions and hosting post-screening discussions.

The Najran event is part of the Cinema Association's nationwide "Shashatna" initiative, a mobile film program designed to expand public access to cinema and create new viewing experiences in diverse cultural settings.
