Najran, Najran University ranked first with King Abdulaziz University at the level of Saudi and Arab universities, in the number of scientific citations, according to the QS University Ranking, which is considered one of the three most prestigious university rankings in the world in terms of credibility, importance and impact.

Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Saeed Al-Sorayi said this achievement is a reflection of the quality of research published by the university, and its impact on the scientific arena in various disciplines, noting that the criterion of scientific citations is one of the most important criteria and reliable indicators that indicate the originality and excellence of research activity of any institution concerned with scientific research.

Al-Sorayi stressed that the university is keen to maintain a high quality of its research system in various disciplines, especially the Advanced Materials Research Center and Nanometric Sensors, which contributed to the publication of many distinguished types of research and reaped a number of patents, praising the efforts of the centers’ distinguished and empowered researchers.
