According to Saudi Press Agency, AlUla joins the world in celebrating World Bee Day, observed annually on May 20, to raise awareness of the importance of pollinators and their essential role in maintaining ecological balance, sustaining agricultural productivity, and preserving biodiversity.

AlUla's valleys and agricultural areas provide a naturally rich environment for bees, reflected in the high-quality, varied locally produced honey.

AlUla Honey Season has been designated as part of the Khayrat AlUla seasons, an initiative that celebrates the governorate's agricultural prominence. It also showcases AlUla's unique natural environment, which contributes to the production of diverse, high-quality honey varieties.
