Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has released its climate forecast for the months of August, September, and October, projecting that most regions of the Kingdom will experience above-average temperatures and varied rainfall patterns. According to Saudi Press Agency, the forecast indicates that August will likely bring below-average rainfall to southern and central regions, with other areas receiving average precipitation levels. Temperatures are expected to rise up to 2.5 degrees Celsius above normal in some parts of Al-Baha, Aseer, and Makkah regions. In September, an increase in rainfall is predicted for the northern and western areas, while temperatures across much of the Kingdom might reach up to 2 degrees Celsius above average. The forecast for October suggests that most of the Kingdom will see above-average rainfall, while temperatures are projected to remain up to 2.5 degrees Celsius above normal in several regions. The NCM has advised authorities and the public to stay informed thro ugh official updates to enhance regional preparedness and manage resources effectively.
