Northern border university: Northern Border University has achieved a new scientific milestone, strengthening its standing in global research rankings after continuing its progress in the Nature Index 2026, covering the period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The index is considered one of the leading international indicators for assessing the quality of research outputs published in high-impact scientific journals.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the university ranked seventh in social sciences and 13th in physical sciences among academic and healthcare research institutions in Saudi Arabia, while also maintaining a strong research presence in applied, health, and natural sciences.

Northern Border University's rankings reflect its growing research presence and underscore its continued efforts to enhance the quality of its scientific output and strengthen its competitiveness locally and internationally.
