Riyadh: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned a terrorist attack on a security checkpoint in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, located in northwestern Pakistan. The attack resulted in the death and injury of several soldiers and a civilian.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the OIC expressed its condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan, as well as to the families of the victims. The organization also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.

The OIC reaffirmed its solidarity with Pakistan in its efforts to confront terrorism and violence. It reiterated its firm stance against all forms of terrorism and extremism, emphasizing the need for collective action to combat these threats.
