Jeddah: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed received a telephone call today from President of the African Development Bank Group Dr. Sidi Ould Tah. During the call, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the OIC and the African Development Bank Group. They also reviewed mechanisms for developing joint initiatives and opportunities to coordinate efforts and mobilize resources for high-quality development projects in member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused particularly on priority areas, including youth and women's empowerment and support for inclusive growth and solidarity.
