Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha offered condolences to Afghanistan for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck west of the city of Herat on Saturday.

Hundreds of people were reportedly killed by the powerful earthquake

Taha stressed that OIC stands in full support of and solidarity with the Afghans in this trying moment.
