H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha added that the campus generously funded by the foundation of the late King Abdulla of Saudi Arabia, would help in promoting the role of women in the socio-economic development and their contribution to human development in OIC Member States.

The construction of the new campus at the Islamic University in Niger, - which serves thousands of students from many countries on the African continent, - enhances the position of the institution as one the best citadels of learning in Sub Saharan Africa.
