Oil Sustainability Program and Saudi Readymix Partner for Sustainable Construction Solutions

Hanoi:The Oil Sustainability Program (OSP) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Readymix. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation in developing NovusCrete concrete technologies, which are considered advanced in terms of sustainability.

According to Saudi Press Agency, The MoU is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on elevating economic and operational efficiency by promoting polymer-based and sustainable materials in the construction sector. It also aims to bolster technical and technological capabilities through collaborative research and innovation. This partnership is expected to facilitate the broader application of these technologies in significant projects across Saudi Arabia, supporting mutual interests and sustainable development objectives.

Additionally, OSP played a role in facilitating another MoU between Saudi Readymix and ClimateCrete. This agreement aims to enhance the use of re-engineered sand, derived from processed drilling and construction waste, in Saudi Arabia's concrete applications. The initiative supports strategic partnerships and the adoption of innovative materials. A key component of this agreement is the development of a facility for processing re-engineered sand and the implementation of a joint technical testing program to evaluate the material's performance, efficiency, and economic viability in concrete mixes.
