Makkah: The National Water Company (NWC) announced the distribution of more than 773,000 cubic meters of water in Makkah and the holy sites during Eid Al-Adha, as part of its operational plans to serve pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, NWC confirmed the stability of operations and the uninterrupted 24-hour water supply, noting that distribution was carried out efficiently and without any significant disruptions. This initiative was crucial in ensuring that the needs of the pilgrims were met during the holy period.
The company also stated that it conducted more than 4,200 laboratory tests on water samples on the 10th of Dhu Al-Hijjah. These tests were aimed at ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the water provided to pilgrims, forming a critical part of its operational plans.
