Pakistan Condemns Attempted Drone Attack on Makkah, Reaffirms Solidarity with Saudi Arabia

Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif condemned in the strongest terms the attempted drone attack targeting Makkah, describing it as a cowardly and heinous act, and reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a post on his X account, Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the attack and renewed his country's call for all parties to exercise restraint and step back from escalation, noting that the region has long suffered from conflicts and tensions.

He stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only sustainable path to peace, underscoring Pakistan's support for the Kingdom's security alongside efforts to contain regional escalation.
