Islamabad-- Pakistan recorded 2,870 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and 40 deaths in the past 24 hours.

The National Center for Monitoring Coronavirus Developments in Pakistan reported that the total number of infections reached 1,494,293, out of which 71,167 active cases, while the death tally amounted to 29,917, indicating that the recovery tally amounted to 1,393,209.
