Riyadh: Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa at the Prime Minister's Office in Islamabad.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, Al-Issa commended the Pakistani government's diplomatic role, under the prime minister's leadership, in mediating between the United States and Iran and supporting a return to peaceful means of resolving differences.
He also expressed appreciation for the prime minister's remarks about the MWL and the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to its delegation.
Al-Issa also thanked the prime minister for congratulating him after the Pakistani president approved the National University of Modern Languages' decision to confer on him an honorary doctorate in the philosophy of international relations.
