Palestinian Ministry Denounces Israeli Actions in Gaza Strip

Accra:Gaza Strip The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement condemning the Israeli occupation for the killing of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip. An Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment early today resulted in the deaths of five Palestinians, including four women, and left others injured. The ministry described this attack as part of ongoing genocide and war crimes against the Palestinian population.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Palestinian ministry has highlighted Israel's continued refusal to agree to a ceasefire, comply with US President Donald Trump's peace plan, and adhere to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803. Additionally, Israel has not allowed humanitarian aid to enter the area amid famine and suffering. The ministry asserts that these actions confirm Israel's intent to commit genocide and forcibly displace the Palestinian people.

The ministry is calling on the international community to implement mechanisms for accountability, end all forms of impunity, and ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians. It advocates for a comprehensive and sustainable cessation of aggression, a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid, and the establishment of conditions necessary for recovery and reconstruction. Ultimately, the ministry believes these measures should lead to an end to the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine, the realization of its independence and sovereignty, and the Palestinian people's right to self-determination.
