Parliamentary Human Rights calls for dialogue among the components of Kirkuk

The Parliamentary Human Rights Committee called for dialogue among all parties and political forces in Kirkuk Governorate.

It said that adopting the principle of dialogue and understanding is an essential way to solve outstanding issues and problems.

It stressed the importance of observing national cohesion and the need to prevent escalation and violence in this context.

The Committee stressed the importance of national discourses that transcend national and political affiliations, stressing its commitment to follow up reports received about attacks on civilians, security forces, and public and private property.

The Committee affirmed its follow-up to procedures for compensating the families of the victims of the painful events that accompanied the demonstrations, announcing its full readiness to intervene and mediate in order to achieve a consensus among the conflicting political parties, with the aim of preserving societal peace and stability in Kirkuk Governorate.
