Riyadh– King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS), in cooperation with the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, is organizing a photo exhibition and an accompanying conference to commemorate the 19th anniversary of King Faisal’s historic visit to Poland on May 27, 1932.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KFCRIS, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the presence of Professor Jacek Popiel, President of Jagiellonian University, and several officials, diplomats, thinkers, and specialists in various cultural fields.

The exhibition will be held in the university’s main building from October 11 to 21, 2022, and aims to shed light on the Late King’s visit during which Marshal Joseph Vysotsky and President Ignacy Moszkowski received him, during which the Polish President awarded King Faisal the Renaissance Medal of the First Class, the highest honor in the country. It also sheds light on the Saudi-Polish relations that extend for nearly 90 years.
