Pilgrim’s Life Saved after Severe Hemorrhage in Makkah

A medical team at Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah was able to save the life of a 68-year-old Egyptian pilgrim after he arrived at the emergency department in a critical condition with a hemorrhage in the lower digestive tract, with a haemoglobin rate of two grams.

The patient was received as a life-saving case and immediately transferred to the operating room. The medical team stopped the haemorrhage and started the operation, which lasted three hours.

The operation was successful, and the patient recovered and was later discharged.
