The MP, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Saihoud affirmed that the agreement of Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani to provide the Iranian side with black oil in exchange for liquid gas constitutes a qualitative leap in solving the electricity problem in Iraq.
He said in a press statement today that: The agreement is one of the government's most important steps in overcoming crises, finding solutions and missing the opportunity for those who want to embarrass the government in front of the people, and the government has plans and programs to solve the problem of electricity and services once and for all.
He added that: the agreement will contribute to the return of funds from the TBI to the state treasury, and in return Iraq will provide the Iranian side with black oil in exchange for gas at the same price, indicating that "the service file is one of the priorities of the government program that the government is working on to complete in order to cross the country to safety."
