President of the Republic of Benin Patrice Talon has received in capital Cotonou Nassirou Bako-Arifari, Special Envoy for Africa of the Secretary General of Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), it was reported here today.
During the meeting, which took place yesterday, the OIC envoy delivered a written message to the President of Benin from the Secretary General of OIC Hissein Brahim Taha.
The two sides discussed different challenges facing West African sub-region and ways to enhance dialogue and cooperation between OIC and the economic group of West Africa and the Economic and Monetary Union for West Africa.
