President of Kazakhstan Awards IsDB Group Chairman Dostyk Order

Astana: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has awarded the Order of Dostyk, Second Class, to Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser. The award recognizes Al Jasser's outstanding contributions to strengthening the enduring partnership between Kazakhstan and the IsDB Group.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the honor was conferred during a meeting between Tokayev and Al Jasser at the Palace of Independence in Astana on the sidelines of the Foreign Investors' Council meeting.

The two sides discussed the longstanding strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the IsDB Group. They discussed ways to strengthen further cooperation in support of the country's national development priorities, particularly in sectors with significant developmental impact.

Al Jasser said the award reflects the deep mutual trust and shared vision that have long characterized relations between the two sides. It also reaffirms their joint commitment to advancing sustainable development and shared prosperity.
