Makkah: The President of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, has stressed that the “No Hajj Without a Permit” campaign was launched to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims, urging all to support it and cooperate with the security agencies implementing it.
In his remarks at the 48th edition of the Grand Hajj Symposium, titled “Observing Sharia Permissions and Adherence to the Regulations Approved in the Hajj Rite,” held today in Makkah, Al-Sudais pointed out that those who do not have a permit risk committing a sin and engaging in forbidden acts by violating sharia. This pertains to the essential condition of capability and consideration of circumstances like crowding and jostling, the importance of crowd management, and phased entry. He added that performing Hajj without a permit violates the regulations and instructions designed to serve the public interest, emphasizing that pilgrims must adhere to these rules and avoid breachi
ng or circumventing them, as those who do so are sinful and expose themselves to severe consequences.
Al-Sudais reiterated the importance of complying with Hajj instructions and obtaining a permit in advance, highlighting that this measure ensures the safety and comfort of pilgrims.
