President of Senegal Receives Saudi Minister of State for African Countries

Dakar, President of the Republic of Senegal Macky Sall received at the presidential palace here today the Saudi Minister of State for African Countries Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan and the accompanying delegation, currently on an official visit to Senegal.

During the meeting, Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to the Senegalese President and in turn the President conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, as well as his best wishes for them and the people of the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.

Also, President Sall expressed his aspiration to develop relationships between the two countries, and move them to broader horizons to achieve the interests of the two countries, while the minister Qattan affirmed the Kingdom’s full readiness to do everything that would enhance bilateral relations in all fields.

During the meeting, they reviewed the relations of cooperation between the two countries, and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international issues of common interest.

After that, the Minister of State for African Affairs expressed in a statement to the media his happiness to visit the Republic of Senegal and the distinguished and fraternal relations binding the two countries, citing the Saudi-Senegalese governments’ satisfaction with the level these relations have reached and their endeavor to develop in all fields, stressing the keenness of the two governments to confront common challenges through joint coordination to achieve security, stability and development in the region.
