The Secretary-General of the Asyib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Qais Khazali, received today, Tuesday, in his office in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Elbrus Kutrashev.

Khazali's media office said, "During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues related to relations between the Iraqi and Russian peoples, ways to develop them, the growing Iraqi role in light of the apparent stability in the situation inside Iraq, and the positive impact of this stability on relations in the region and the world."

Ambassador Kutrashev praised the distinguished role played by Khazali in directing, coordinating and supporting the Iraqi political situation, which was reflected in forming of a service government that is racing against time to provide the best.
