Quality of Life Program Center Engages in Global Dialogue at Doha Summit

Doha: The Quality of Life Program Center participated in the Second World Summit for Social Development 2025, held in Doha, Qatar. The summit aimed to discuss policies and solutions that enhance social well-being, reduce development disparities, achieve social justice, and improve quality of life worldwide.

According to Saudi Press Agency, CEO of the Quality of Life Program Center Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Bakr, together with the Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Anacl¡udia Rossbach, opened a session titled ‘Measuring What Matters: Quality of Life as a Compass for 21st Century Social Development.’

Al-Bakr emphasized that true development is not measured solely by economic indicators but by human experiences, well-being, equal opportunities, and social advancement. He highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting a comprehensive concept of quality of life, contributing to the creation of vibrant societies both nationally and internationally. He noted that improving the quality of life has become a central focus of Saudi Arabia’s development agenda since the launch of Vision 2030.

Al-Bakr affirmed that, through this initiative, the Kingdom continues to support international cooperation, develop data-driven policies, and empower societies to advance and modernize, thereby contributing to raising quality of life standards and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals globally.
