Quantum Technologies Leadership Program Concludes in Switzerland

Zurich:The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with IBM, has concluded the Quantum Technologies Leadership Program in Zurich, Switzerland. This initiative was designed to prepare leaders and decision-makers to leverage opportunities in quantum technologies across computing, communications, and sensing, while fostering technological innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program took place at IBM Research Europe - Zurich and offered participants both knowledge-based and practical experiences. It focused on evaluating the opportunities and risks linked to quantum technologies, forecasting their impact on various sectors, and formulating supportive policies. The curriculum included practical simulations and international case studies, enabling participants to integrate technical knowledge into strategic decision-making.

Participants also visited QuantumBasel in Basel, Switzerland, where they examined the quantum computing innovation ecosystem and its practical applications. This visit included insights into the center’s collaboration with IonQ, enhancing participants' understanding of how quantum technologies can transition from research to commercial use.
