RHF announces registration dates for its scholarships

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has announced that the online registration for the scholarships of the academic year 2023-2024 for its sponsored students will be open from August 27 to 31.

Dr. Mustafa Al Sayad, RHF Secretary-General, said that in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who is also RHF’s Honorary President, and the support of HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and RHF’s Board of Trustees Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the RHF is keen to continue its educational care programmes for its sponsored students, including the provision of scholarships on an annual basis to improve the educational level of students, enable them continue their university education, and invest in opportunities to contribute to the development of Bahrain.

The RHF launched the “Tamayouz” scholarship programme for graduate students in line with the foundation’s strategy that focuses on investing in education and providing new opportunities for its sponsored students to continue university studies.

The RHF is keen on strengthening partnerships and principles of social responsibility with institutions and community to support this programme that would contribute to embracing university youth and integrating them into community programmes, he said.

The programme is an extension of the “Study Scholarships” project for orphans sponsored by the RHF, which came in accordance with the royal directives since the establishment of the foundation to allocate 50 annual scholarships for newly graduated orphans, where new students have been registered for this year and final procedures are being taken to complete the selection of the eligible, he added.

Dr. Al Sayad highlighted that 1279 students have benefited from these scholarships over the past years, and the project is achieving great success in light of the foundation’s interest in developing it.

He pointed out that the new academic year scholarships will be allocated to studying in the Kingdom, specifically at the University of Bahrain, the Bahrain Polytechnic, and the College of Health Sciences, adding that admission will be based on the highest grades.

Eligible students include RHF-sponsored graduates of 2023-2024, with Grade Point Averages (GPA) between 80% and 89.99%. Also, they must have been accepted by the UoB, the Bahrain Polytechnic, or the College of Health Sciences, and must not have obtained a scholarship from any other party.

The RHF called on those wishing to receive its scholarships to register on its website (www.rhf.gov.bh), fill in the form, and attach colored PDF copies of the required documents.
