Riyadh: Riyadh Region Police detained five Bangladeshi residents for begging and took legal measures against them.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the arrests were made as part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts, represented by Public Security, to combat begging in all its forms.

Public Security has urged donors to channel their donations through approved official platforms to ensure they reach eligible beneficiaries. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to address the issue of begging and provide support to those in genuine need through legitimate means.

The authorities have been focusing on eliminating begging activities by implementing strict measures and encouraging the public to contribute through authorized channels. The campaign aims to maintain social order and ensure that assistance is provided to those who truly require it.
