Riyadh: Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS) launched its new corporate identity as part of efforts to unify the air navigation system, marking 10 years since its establishment, in a ceremony attended by General Authority of Civil Aviation President and Chairman of SANS Board of Directors Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, along with a number of officials and partners from the aviation sector. According to Saudi Press Agency, SANS CEO Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Zaid reviewed the company's journey over the past decade, highlighting the rapid development of its operational and technological capabilities and its expanded adoption of innovation and digital solutions. The company's future plans include developing a new concept for Saudi airspace and expanding advanced air mobility solutions, virtual control towers, and unmanned aircraft traffic management. Further plans focus on advancing research and development and building specialized national capabilities and leadership in air navigation services. These efforts supp ort the objectives of the Aviation Program and Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a global aviation hub.
