Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi met today with Commissioner General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini.

Al-Sudairi stressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to enable UNRWA to assume its social responsibilities towards the Palestinian refugees and its political and legal responsibilities by securing their rights and the rights of the countries hosting them.

He praised the efforts of Lazzarini and UNRWA in supporting the Palestinians and alleviating their suffering, especially in these difficult and unstable times.

Lazzarini appreciated the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting UNRWA’s work and efforts to care for Palestinian refugees.
