Saudi Ambassador to USA Stricktly Following up on the Murder of a Saudi Citizen in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Washington, Princess Rima bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, has contacted the family of Al-Waleed Abdullah Al-Gharibi, a Saudi citizen who was stabbed to death by a US woman, extending her condolence and offering complete help for them in this sad event, appealing to God Almighty to pour his mercy on the soul of the deceaed and patience on his family and friends.

In a press release yesterday, the Saudi embassy in Washington said that it was following up in coordination with its consultate general in New York on the developments of the incident since the first day, expressing profound sorrow and pain of what has happened.

According to official reports, Al-Gharibi was murdered by a US women who was living in an upper floor of his apartment building in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The embassy said that the accused was arrested and is currently under investigations, lauding the cooperation of the US security authorities in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since the occurence of the sad incident.

The embassy informed that all necessary measures to transport the body to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have been completed in cooperation with the US authorities concerned.
