Baghdad The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that it stands with the choices of the Afghan people without external interference.

A Foreign Ministry statement said: The Kingdom is following with interest the current events in sisterly Afghanistan.

It affirmed its support for the brotherly Afghan people and their choices, which they decide on their own, without interference from anyone.

It expressed its hope for the stability of the situation in Afghanistan as soon as possible.

It also expressed the hope that the Taliban movement and all Afghan parties will work to preserve security, stability, lives and property.
