Saudi Arabia Distributes 1.9 Million Quran Copies to Departing Hajj Pilgrims

Jeddah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has launched the distribution of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of the Holy Quran and translated versions of its meanings to departing pilgrims and seasonal field workers. Overseen at all air, land, and sea ports, the initiative is designed to provide copies directly to pilgrims as they conclude their Hajj journey.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this year's distribution comprises 1.9 million copies published by the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah, with translations spanning 80 languages.

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al Alsheikh highlighted that the gift reflects the leadership's dedication to spreading the message of the Holy Quran globally. He noted that the ministry has fully mobilized its logistical and human resources to ensure the distribution is seamless, efficient, and readily accessible to all departing pilgrims.
