Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially received the flag to host the Asian Physics Olympiad 2025, the largest scientific event in the entire Asian continent. The olympiad will see the participation of 27 countries, which reflects the Kingdom's avant-garde status in the scientific and education spheres. Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, or Mawhiba, Dr. Amal bint Abdullah Al-Hazzaa, said that hosting the olympiad in the Kingdom re-emphasizes its global strength and the special attention it pays to science and education in realization of the Saudi Vision 2030 through which His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has sought to transform the Kingdom into a global success model in all fields. The 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad will be held in May next year. It will be co-organized by Mawhiba and the Ministry of Education in cooperation with King Fahd University of Petroleum an d Minerals.
