Saudi Arabia Strengthens Position as Regional Financial Hub with BNP Paribas Headquarters

Riyadh: Minister of Investment Fahad Al-Saif met with Chairman of BNP Paribas Group Jean Lemierre in Paris to discuss opportunities to deepen cooperation and investment in the financial sector and support the group's expansion in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, BNP Paribas has received its investment registration for a regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia, strengthening the Kingdom's position as a destination for leading global financial institutions and providing the group with a base to expand its business across regional markets.

BNP Paribas is the latest global financial institution to establish a regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia under the Regional Headquarters Program, launched in 2021. More than 750 companies have now joined the program, well ahead of its target of 500 companies by 2030.

The growing number of companies establishing regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia reflects rising confidence in the Kingdom's economy and investment environment, while reinforcing its position as a regional hub for business and investment in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
