Saudi Arabia to Host 14th Meeting of GCC Permanent Committee of Heads of Meteorological Facilities

Jeddah-- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host next Sunday in Jeddah the 14th gathering of the Heads of Meteorological Facilities of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.

The meeting will be attended by representatives from international organizations, with the goal of collaborating in the areas of capacity building and development, scientific research, the development of the legislative framework, and the institutional performance of meteorological facilities in the GCC countries, as well as supporting the Saudi Green Initiative and the Middle East Green Initiative.

Dr. Ayman bin Salem Ghulam, CEO of the National Center for Meteorology, stated that the meeting's goal is to improve the efficacy and efficiency of the team's collaboration.
